Server Rules
Our servers are made for fair play. By joining you accept the general rules that help keep order and a comfortable environment. Read them to avoid misunderstandings and to maintain a healthy atmosphere.
1. Information
1.1. Not knowing the rules does not absolve you of responsibility. By joining the server you automatically agree to all of the points listed below.
1.2. A player can be banned based on evidence obtained from another project, without additional checks.
1.3. The administration chooses the punishment for the player depending on the severity of the violation and the circumstances.
1.4. The administration does not compensate in-game valuables or skins lost due to your mistake, technical issues on the server/hosting, game bugs or contact with offenders.
1.5. You are responsible for all of your accounts. After getting banned on an old account you will also get banned on a new one. This applies to both server bans and EAC bans.
1.6. Administrators and moderators have the right to ban a player without warning or explanation if they have evidence of a rule violation.
2. Gameplay
2.1. It is forbidden to use, store, acquire or distribute third-party software and any other means that give an advantage over other players.
2.2. It is forbidden to use the services of cheaters.
2.3. It is forbidden to use bugs, whether or not for the purpose of gaining an advantage over other players.
2.4. It is forbidden to exceed the team player limit. The limit is stated in the server name, e.g. "Solo", "Duo" or "Trio".
2.4.1. It is forbidden to form alliances or truces with neighbors if the total number of players exceeds the maximum limit stated in the server name.
2.4.2. It is forbidden to carry out raids, counter-raids or kills together with other players if the total number of participants exceeds the server limit. For example, on a solo server teaming up with another player to attack or kill a third one is considered a violation.
2.4.3. It is forbidden to cooperate with other players in any way if your team is already at the maximum number of members.
2.4.4. Frequently changing teammates will be treated as a violation of the team limit rule.
2.4.5. It is forbidden to play with another player while your teammate is AFK or not nearby.
2.4.6. It is forbidden to temporarily switch teammates if your main teammate keeps playing with you in the meantime.
2.5. Selling/buying (or attempting to sell/buy) in-game valuables for real currency or skins is forbidden.
2.6. It is not forbidden to deceive players in trades and other in-game interactions.
2.7. It is forbidden to stay on the server in idle mode to gain EXP or skins. A violation can lead to a permanent ban and the cancellation of all progress (EXP/skins).
3. In-game chat
3.1. Links in chat to third-party services, websites and servers are forbidden.
3.2. Flood (repeatedly posting meaningless phrases or characters) or repeatedly sending the same phrases within a short period of time is forbidden.
3.3. It is forbidden to suggest actions that lead to an unwanted disconnect from the server. Such actions include, for example: pressing alt+f4, typing disconnect into the console and other similar actions whose meaning other players may not know.
3.4. The administration reserves the right to mute a player in chat if they behave inappropriately or incorrectly towards other players or the project.
3.5. It is forbidden to impersonate an Administrator, Moderator or Inspector.
4. Checks
4.1. Checks are conducted only via Discord. Every player on our project must have this program on their PC (or at least an account to access Discord through a browser).
4.2. The check call is made only via the on-screen prompt and never via voice/text chat.
4.3. If a player leaves the server, provides incorrect contact details, ignores the check or refuses it, and then, after being banned, asks to check their PC for third-party software — they will be refused.
4.4. It is forbidden to clean the PC before or during the check, as well as to store on the PC scripts for cleaning RegEdit, LastActivity, Prefetch, Recent and other system data. The inspector has the right to ban you for detected traces of cleaning or the presence of such scripts on your device.
4.5. For refusing to provide information necessary for the check or for inappropriate behavior, a player can be banned for evading the check.
4.6. If as a result of the check the player gets banned (including cases of bans for refusal, ignoring, disconnect or providing incorrect contact details), the ban can also be applied to their entire team.
— You have every right to refuse the check, but in that case we will have to ban you on all of the project's servers.
— Leaving the server, providing incorrect contact details or ignoring the check will also be treated as a refusal.
— You allow installing the third-party software the administration needs to check your PC (AnyDesk/RustDesk, RustCheatCheck, LastActivityView).
— You allow checking your PC, social networks and email for third-party software or traces of purchasing third-party software.
— We, in turn, commit to ensuring the confidentiality and protection of your personal information and not to distribute it. Any information unrelated to RUST and to facts of project rule violations obtained from you will not be stored or shared.
